Scholarship Description

WSAJ is committed to ensuring that our members, their clients, and Washington residents more broadly have meaningful access to justice in Washington’s courts. One important way WSAJ serves this goal is by facilitating the development of the law, both through its government affairs team, which protects consumer and worker rights in the legislature, and through its amicus team, which regularly appears in Washington Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court as an appellate organization.
In keeping with these aims, WSAJ has created an annual scholarship of $5,000 to be awarded to a law student who has a demonstrated interest in appellate advocacy.
