Scholarship Description

Eunice Walker Johnson was a business leader and humanitarian, particularly concerned with the encouragement of African American youth. Mrs. Johnson was the producer and director of the world's largest traveling fashion show, Ebony Fashion Fair, which has donated some of its proceeds to UNCF.

Through her generous donation, the Eunice Walker Johnson Endowed Scholarship Fund was developed to award need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 each to undergraduate students attending Selma University or a UNCF Member Institution.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the 2024-2025 academic year. Applicants must have completed a FAFSA and have a demonstrated unmet financial aid need, as verified by the applicant’s college or university. Priority consideration will be granted to applicants attending Selma University.
