This scholarship will provide a $1000 award each semester to a student who has grown up in a volatile family environment and is committed to “breaking the cycle” for future generations. Applicants must be enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited U.S. college or university for the Spring 2025 semester as an undergraduate or graduate student; must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
Additionally, this award is awarded to students who grew up in familial environments featuring difficult circumstances. This may include but is not limited to growing up in a household where a parent suffered from addiction, where abuse occurred, growing up in a low-income single-parent household, or something else. To apply, submit all required materials along with a 500 word essay addressing the prompt on the scholarship provider's website.
