Scholarship Description
The AICPA Foundation Fellowship for Accounting Doctoral Students seeks to support CPAs with recent accounting experience who want to serve as role models and mentors to young people in the academic environment.
Eligibility:
- Have CPA licensure
- Have either:
- Applied to a full-time AACSB accounting Ph.D. or DBA program (with an accounting concentration) in the United States and awaiting word on acceptance (award contingent upon program acceptance);
- Preference will be given to those who have already received acceptance into a full-time AACSB accounting Ph.D. or DBA program
- Matriculated into an AACSB-accredited full-time accounting Ph.D. or DBA program and are pursuing appropriate coursework
- Have intent to teach and research at a U.S. accredited university upon graduation, as indicated through a written essay
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder)
