Scholarship Description

Their mission is to remove barriers to education for students struggling to balance life’s immediate needs, while simultaneously pursuing their long-term goal of a degree – and a brighter future.
Each student is paired with a liaison and liaisons work with students throughout their academic journey to overcome obstacles in the financial aid process.

The Application Process:
- Scholarships are granted quarterly (The deadline is based on quarterly class drop dates specific to your school)
- The application is online and can be submitted via mail or dropped off in person.

Eligibility & Details:
- Funding is $1500 per quarter.
- Be a King County resident.
- Be enrolled in or accepted by a King County public college or vocational/technical school. (not a university)
- Be working toward an associates degree, transfer degree, or vocational/technical certificate.
- Maintain a 2.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 10 hours per quarter.
- Applicant cannot have an associate, BA, BS, MBA, or other advanced degree from any US Institution.
- Applicant cannot have a close relative who is a current member of the Assistance League of Seattle.
