Cathy Stroup Memorial Teaching Scholarship The Cathy Stroup Memorial Teaching Scholarship was created for graduating Seniors in the Cascade School District who want to make a difference for kids as a future teacher. Cathy Stroup was renowned in Leavenworth for her outstanding 33-year career as a First, Second and Third Grade Teacher at Osborn Elementary. Cathy spent her career helping young children build a base for success, teaching fundamentals, developing good habits, nurturing a love of learning and a belief in each child's ability to advance and thrive.
