Scholarship Description
This scholarship will be awarded to individuals who demonstrate these principles of goal-orientation and motivation. Awards of the scholarship will be based primarily upon the applicant’s statements of goals and intentions as well as extracurricular involvement within his or her community.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Must be a person with a bleeding disorder OR must have an immediate family member with a bleeding disorder (such as a sibling of, child of, or spouse of someone with a bleeding disorder).
- Applicant is planning to pursue a post-secondary education at a community college, four-year college/university or vocational school, or is pursuing graduate degree or continuing education program. Must be able to provide proof of acceptance or enrollment at approved institution.
- Must be a resident of, or have permanent address in, one of the following Southern California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, Kern, Inyo and Santa Barbara.
