Scholarship Description
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Deloitte Foundation are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Seventy (70) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $8,000 for the 2025-2026 academic school year, which may be renewable if recipients continue to meet eligibility requirements. The total eligible scholarship amount will be allocated in two installments: one during the Fall 2025 semester and the second during the Spring 2026 semester (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Open to accounting majors (or graduating high school seniors who intend to major in accounting)
- Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
- Selected participants must have the ability to reside in the United States and the intention to pursue career opportunities in the United States after graduating from the University
An applicant must meet one of the following criteria:
1) Be a current graduating high school senior who will be a first-year, full-time student at a four-year HBCU in the fall of 2025
2) Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
Must have the 2025-2026 FAFSA on file at a selected
university/college by the time of selection
3) Be currently enrolled full-time at an HBCU as a first-year or sophomore during the 2024-2025 academic year
