Scholarship Description
Created by Elizabeth's family to honor her memory, this fund will provide scholarships to North Thurston High School (Washington State) seniors to help support their higher education goals. Preference will be given to a student who can demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Demonstrates responsibilities or commitments outside of school, including but not limited to volunteering, paid work experience, community engagement, leadership positions, caring for a family member, raising animals, or other activities.
- A motivation to serve or a passion in an area that is reflected in activities.
- Has overcome adverse family, social, economic conditions, or other challenges
Criteria:
Graduating Senior from NTHS with a cumulative GPA between 3.0-3.5, planning to pursue a post-secondary education including four-year university, community college, vocational, or trade school. Student must demonstrate community involvement.
