Scholarship Description
The Washington Cattle Feeders Association awards a limited number of $1,500 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors or to college students who are residents of Washington state. The scholarships are awarded to recipients based on beef community background, academic merit, leadership, activities, personal accomplishments and the desire to contribute to the agricultural community.
Additionally, one student will receive the $2,500 Gerd Sievers Memorial Scholarship, one student will receive the $2,500 John J. Para Memorial Scholarship, and one student will receive the $2,500 Mark Arstein Memorial Scholarship funded by his grandson Tim Martin.
