Greater Yakima Girls Softball Association Scholarship

GYGSA awards five scholarships every year to graduating seniors:

1) Brenda Reifel Memorial Scholarship
2) Bob Tormaschy Memorial Scholarship
3) Bill Harris Sr. Memorial Scholarship
4) Al Reyer Memorial Scholarship

The applicant only needs to fill out one application and they will be considered for all 4 scholarships. Only one scholarship will be awarded to an applicant.

CRITERIA:
- The recipient must have played softball in the Greater Yakima Girls Softball Association for at least 2 years.
- The scholarship must be used to further the recipient’s formal education at a 2- or 4-year college or an accredited vocational/technical school.
- Only complete applications will be accepted.
- Two letters of recommendation must be included with the application.
- A high school transcript of grades must be included with the application.
- Applicants must be a high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
