Background:
Amount: $1,000
Established in honor of Dr. Katharine Hsiao and Dr. Liang-Lin Hsiao, who were professors of economics at Indiana State University
Eligibility Criteria:
Grade level: Graduate student attending a US-based college or university in the 2024-25 academic year
Pursuing a graduate degree in the social sciences, economics preferred but not required
Research/study topics: preference given to topics that benefit those in social/economic need, especially Asian and Asian American communities
Ethnic heritage: preference for Asian heritage, though not required
Residency: US citizen, resident, or foreign national
Minimum GPA: 3.0
