Scholarship Description
Requirements:
- Be a past or present member of the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington (Clark County)
- Plan to continue their education at accredited public or private nonprofit colleges, universities, or vocational/trade schools in the United States
- Demonstrate Financial Need
Considerations: Preference will be given to students pursuing a career in the trades through a vocational training or accredited apprenticeship program including electricians, millwrights, iron workers, pipe fitters, steel and pipe welders, concrete carpenters, and equipment operators.
Several scholarships in the range between $2,000 - $5,000 may be awarded at the scholarship committee's discretion. Renewal applicants will have special consideration or priority, if they show good standing at their institution and continuing financial need.
