Scholarship Description
The purpose of this scholarship is to honor Richard’s legacy and carry forward his commitment to mentoring those interested in pursuing engineering as a career.
Criteria:
Graduating senior from a high school in Mason County or Thurston County (Washington) planning to pursue a degree in engineering, minimum GPA of 3.5 required.
Preference may be given to students who demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Graduating senior from a Mason County high school
Interested in engineering to improve the environment or society
- Plays a musical instrument
- Has experience in mentoring and/or tutoring program
- Provides evidence of financial need
