Scholarship Description
In the interest of supporting and promoting professions in Materials Science and in particular metallurgy, this scholarship is designed to assist students with any educationally related expenses.
Eligibility:
This scholarship will be made available to students who:
- Currently enrolled in Materials Science classes during junior or senior year
- GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Plan to attend a vocational-technical, junior college, or college in the fall
The amount of the award will be $1,000 and possibly more as funds are made available. Funds will be disbursed in semester or quarter increments as determined by the institution the student chooses to attend and will be mailed directly to the institution. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point each quarter/semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
*Applications will be available at Cascade, Cashmere, and Richland High School counseling Offices.
