Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Nora Stone Smith Scholarship is to honor and to give financial support to deserving high school seniors and students who have graduated in the past year and have participated in an ESL/ELL program at some point in their lives. This scholarship is renewable for 2 to 4 years, provided the student continues to meet the scholarship criteria. If students receive a 2-year scholarship, they are eligible to reapply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- This scholarship is available for all ESL/ELL students, regardless of their citizenship status.
- Open to students who are graduating seniors, college freshmen, or those graduated with a high school diploma (GED).
- Must be a resident in the state of Washington.
- Supports Private 4-year University or College, Public 4-year University or College, Public 2-year Community/Technical College.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
