WithIt Scholarship

The applicant must be a full-time college sophomore or junior in good standing at the time of
application. Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at an accredited institution of higher learning by the date stated
with the scholarship. Student must have a major in one of the following as it applies to the home industries: Accessory
Design, Architectural Design, Forestry, Furniture Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture,
Marketing with a Design or Furniture minor, Sustainable Design or majors related to the home and furnishing
industries.

All submissions should include the following:
1. A complete application form signed by the student.
2. An official university transcript indicating the student’s grade point average and the student’s class rank. Must
be sent by the school or student’s faculty advisor.
3. Three letters of recommendation – two from instructors and one personal one.
4. A 300-500 word essay on why you are a candidate for a career in home furnishings and how you would
contribute.
5. High resolution photo of the candidate. (plain background)
6. The address of the Bursar for release of the check should the student receive the scholarship.
