Scholarship Description
Empowering women and non-binary high school seniors to pursue a career in the technology industry.​
Applicants to the Women at Microsoft scholarship must:
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Self-identify as a woman, non-binary, gender fluid or transgender woman
- Plan to enroll full-time in a tech, engineering, math, or computer science-related undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year.**
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent
The program will use criteria including the consideration of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
Microsoft Employees and their children are ineligible.
​International applicants are welcome to apply if they attend school in the US.
