The PRINT IT Scholarship is open to current college students who are actively involved in the creation of unique and engaging video or audio content or wish to pursue it in the future. G.W. Networks Inc. will award one $1,000 scholarship to the student who is able to demonstrate their focus on storytelling via unique video or audio content. To be eligible, the applicant must be a citizen of the United States, and be enrolled in an accredited College or University during the 2023 or 2024 academic year. To apply, students must submit a short video (5-10 min) that responds to the prompt on the scholarship provider's website.

Scholarship is open to current high school seniors and current undergraduates who reside in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, and plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States. To support students throughout their academic journeys, Equitable will provide 100 $5,000 annual scholarships that will be renewed to award recipients each academic year for four years, for a total of $20,000 per recipient. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

The Smith Foundation provides financial scholarships annually to deserving Alabama students. The Smith Foundation awards scholarships that range from $500 to $20,000 for undergraduate studies. These scholarships are supplemental last-dollar awards in which Smith provides funding after the payment of all other scholarships, aid, or grants (excluding student loans which are prohibited). Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, graduate from an Alabama High School, and demonstrate volunteer and community service while overcoming personal and financial hardships.

The James Baldwin Award for Fiction, a creative writing award for fiction for public high school students, in honor of the 100th birthday of the literary legend and civil rights champion. The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the annual National Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship Awards for students completing twelfth grade (or final high school year) in 2025 who are planning careers in government service. Scholarship applicants must be citizens of the United States. Each interested student is invited to write a one-page essay stating why he or she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware. This essay must be accompanied by a recommendation from the high school principal or guidance counselor evaluating the student’s achievements, along with transcripts, national testing scores, and other supporting information of the applicant’s choice as described in the Official Rules.

Essays must describe and analyze an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born. Include an analysis of the obstacles, risks, and consequences associated with the act. The essay may concern an issue at the local, state, national, or international level. Essays can be no more than 1,000 words but must be a minimum of 700 words. Citations and bibliography are not included in the word count.

Four scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who plan to major in any field other than nursing. The winners MUST attend a Virginia college or university. Students applying to a Virginia community college transition program leading to a four-year degree and students who are home-schooled are also eligible to apply.

Through our foundation, the Lyons family is committed to providing opportunities to deserving individuals who wish to pursue a career in aviation as a professional pilot. The recipient must be able to obtain and provide proof of a FAA Third Class medical certificate prior to the start of any training. The AWC Center for Quality Communities (CQC) scholarship supports high school seniors who are active in leadership in their city government, community, or school and plan to pursue post-secondary education.
