The American Indian Endowed Scholarship (AIES) helps students with financial need who have close social and cultural ties to an American Indian community in Washington State. Students can use the scholarship at public colleges and many independent colleges in Washington. The program prioritizes upper-division and graduate-level students, but all applicants are considered. Applicants must demonstrate financial need; must meet Washington State residency requirements for financial aid, and must intend to enroll full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student at a participating public or private college or university in Washington State beginning fall term of the application year. To be considered for this award applicants must Intend to use their education to benefit the American Indian community in Washington State. Many past recipients have careers in law, medicine, education, business, and resource management. All have returned, or plan to return, to their tribal communities to work on behalf of Indian peoples within the state. Award amounts range from around $500 to $2,000. Students may get AIES funding for up to five years, but must reapply each year.

Any BIPOC high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who is pursuing urban planning, economics, or a related field focusing on creating positive impacts in urban environments may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but applicants with community service, volunteering, or leadership experience are preferred. Any high school senior at Lakeville North High School (Minnesota) may apply for this scholarship. To apply, submit one or two photos you’ve taken that represent you.

Any female BIPOC/multicultural high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who has a creative portfolio and has published projects or is pursuing a course of study related to literacy, literature, poetry, writing, publishing, editing or illustration may apply for this scholarship. To apply, write a 400-600 word essay about yourself and answer one or more of the questions on the scholarship provider's website.

Any high school student in Michigan who has played at least one season of a varsity level sport and plans to become an elementary or high school teacher may apply for this scholarship. To apply, either in an essay or video, explaining why you want to become a teacher, who has influenced your pursuit of education or athletics, and what you’ve learned about yourself while participating in sports.
